So, I FINALLY got around to joining Linkedin.com. Is anyone else there? Connect with me if you are.

I just got on myself, so forgive the rather flimsy profile so far.

Blog MLP Takes his act on the road
Ok, for some dang reason, somewhere, someday, I may find it necessary to post a blog from whereever I am, not necessarily from home. So, now I can blog by SMS text message. Far out!

Jumpin Jiminy There's a Lotta Photography Stuff Coming Up
So, if you've got a camera, and you don't know what to do with it... you just aren't trying. There are so many shooting opportunities in the area over the next few months, that if you don't show up to SOMETHING, you need to re-evaluate if photography is actually something you are interested in.
Let's start a list, shall we?
Plus, multiple HELP PORTRAIT planning meetings for the December event.
Plus, Frank sure ain't done with his ANYTHING GOES shoots.
Plus, whatever the Racine Camera Club and Photo Kenosha are up to.
Plus, more events being added all the time to the aforementioned meetup.com groups. I have it on good authority that also within the next few months, there will be a wildflower shoot at Petrified Springs Park in Kenosha, Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop Classes in Franklin, a group outing to the Ren Faire in Bristol (Kenosha), volunteer shooting for animal rescue / shelters, the Scott Kelby Photowalk is coming up in July.
Seriously, whether you have $10,000 worth of gear in a $500 camera bag, or you just have a point and shoot camera that you barely know how to use, there are PLENTY of chance over the next few months to go out, do some shooting, do some socializing, make some new friends, and basically, just enjoy your hobby.
If you have any other information about upcoming events, please send me an email, and I will add them to my list.
